Broward Center for the Performing Arts
The performing arts are alive and thriving in Ft. Lauderdale. The community and local government rightfully believe their city deserves the grace, beauty and enrichment that the arts has to offer and there's no better place to enjoy such as the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The biggest names in theatre, music, and dance continue to grace this stage year after year.

Museum of Art
Both local and world-famous painters and sculptors are on view at the local Muscum of Art for all to enjoy. There are classes for children and adult who wish to learn more about art or who would like to brush up on their own painting technique. For more serious art-and-design students, there is the Academy Program where students can study stage design, printmaking, portfolio development, and digital design.

Historic Stranahan House Museum
Once upon a time, a young man named Frank Stranahan moved from his hometown in Ohio to the beautiful city of Ft. Lauderdale. He was just twenty-seven years old and the year was 1893. He quickly became famous and successful in this southern town due to his ventures of trading with the Seminole Indian tribe of the area. His wife, Ivy, gave up her paid teaching position when they married but continued to teach the Seminole children for free in the subjects of reading, writing, math and history. Their home is now a beautiful museum of local history and treasures.

Bonnet House Museum & Gardens
Florida has always attracted the wealthy and well-to-do in America and all over the world. However, Florida has not always been the densely populated tourist trap that it is today. Before it became the land of retirees and beachcombers, it was a sprawling land of marshes, isolated beaches, wetlands, and thick forests. It was then that the Bonnet House was built and became the home of the wealthy tycoon, Hugh Taylor Birch. The Bonnet House is still a grand palace that is open for weddings and special events.

This is a must-see and must-do for families with kids of all ages. The Funderdome is the one-stop shop for all things exciting and thrilling to do. There's nine thousand square feet of family fun entertainment, games and as they say, "fun experiences for kids!" Your cheeks will hurt at the end of the day from laughing and smiling so much!
